NYE: What is THE tune to ring in 2015?

What are you doing this New Years Eve? Around this time of year it’s the question on everybody’s lips. For working DJ’s New Year’s Eve parties are likely to be one of the biggest jobs of the year, because so many people are out on NYE celebrating the end of another year and the start of a new one full of opportunity.

As we’ve said in previous blogs, the choice of music at big events can define the experience, it’s one of the main things that people remember and comment on (especially if they thought it sucked). As a DJ there are plenty of key decisions to make for your NYE setlist, from the overall musical theme to the most important decision - What do you play to ring in 2015? Do you go for a tried and tested classic, or do you choose something from the past year?

Whatever event you’re playing at this NYE, you’re going to need a crate of classics and modern bangers prepped and ready for the night.
